Mr Kim's Flying Thai food (the 5th Element)

The Lead Adventure site hosted a Build contest recently the theme was flying

I have always wanted to do this

Boat was made from foam board sheets,putty and various plastic bits

The Engine was also scratch built with the exception of the cowl that was reused from an old toy

The Tire bumpers were made from putty formed
in a press mold

The interior was also done with bits of plastic card and putty Food and dishes were from different manufactures

Roof was made from white glue soaked burlap

Mr kim himself was made from 2 clix figures and some putty

I really enjoyed doing this and though I was booted in the 1st round I had lots of fun and the other competition was strong

15mm Dropship and crew

Troopship for my 15mm sci fi  army's  made from a Matchbox "Cloud Chopper" toy

Missile pods added from my kitbashing bit box

Rear gunners window was painted o and 2 large Gatling type guns added.  Not sure if I like them or not so they may get switched out at some point.

The ramp comes down so I added and interior with seating and a door to the flight decks.  the bits and bobs were made from plastic card and the like

The model itself is pretty straight forward, I just removed the helicopter blades and addled the weapons and a radar dish to the top using a flight stand and a BB.

love the four engines will make a great space fighter

Love this one but the cockpit is to small so I am trying to figure out what vehicle i will cannibalize for parts to add a new front

Will work great for pulp gaming

Just added some Graphics and detail

I started by using the base of the areo pod vehicle and adding some tracks removed from 2 other vehicle , giving me a new planetary explore.  paint job is not done yet but a great vehicle

Reworking some matchbox/Hot wheel vehicles

I like using matchbox vehicles for my 15mm  for the most part they fit well and they are pretty inexpensive

Older snowcat That Has been on the bench for a bit,  might just get it done.

My newest hobby

This is my new dog Dylan 3 year old rescue dog, we got together in September and she is just the greatest !! so happy we found each other.

Bandits day out 2015 battle at the Airfield

Had a nice day at the Collinings foundation battle at the airfield. A local event of WWII reenactment its quiet a thing to see and hear.
